Mustang
Island State Park offers open beach camping as well as of the beach (but not to
far away) RV camping with hookups. A grey water dumping station is also located
with in the Park boundaries. Shower and restroom facilities are available at the
campground. Campers are required to check in with the Park Office or one of the
campground hosts. As most Texas State Parks go the overnight camping fee is
extremely reasonable.
Beach Camping
Beach campsites are just south of the Mustang Island State Park Day Use beach
area. A picnic tables and trash cans are positioned along the duneline for
campers to use. This is semiprimitive camping so bring in what you need. The
restroom and shower facilities are closer to the RV campsites. This is a great
area to safely experience camping along the Gulf of Mexico beaches. Park Rangers
live on sight at the Mustang Island State Park and requarly patrol all

RV Campgrounds and Hookups
The RV campgrounds at the Mustang Island State Park are popular among Texans
and those visting from out of state. On the Beach without being right on the
beach. The camping facilitie provide simple access and a turnaround

at the campsites. Water and electric hookups are available for each
campsite. Addtionally there are public showers and restrooms.
