Aransas Pass Aquatic Center
Located
across the ferry down the Port Aransas Causeway to the west from Port
Aransas is the city of Aransas Pass. Aransas Pass has the areas finest
Aquatic Center or water park. The Aransas Pass Aquatic Center has one tower
with three large water slides, and volley ball/lap pool, a High dive and
diving area along with an extremely large wading pool for little kids. The
wading pool has several different water fountains and features the family
will enjoy. The Aransas water park is located at 400 E Johnson in Aransas

Aransas Pass Annual Shrimporee
A festival that has been going on for over 60 years. The
Aransas Pass Annual Shrimp is all about fun, crafts, games, food and you
guessed it shrimp! If visiting the city of Aransas Pass of the surrounding
areas in June be sure to spend some time at the 3 day event calles
Shrimporee. Signs and banners advertise the specific dates will in advance
of the event
Downtown Aransas Pass
This little city has developed quite a reputation for its small, quaint
downtown. Filled with art galleries and antiques shops it is definitely
worth doing some browsing. Located right on State Hwy 361 downtown is easy
to find coming from Port Aransas or Corpus Christi.
Fishing, Birding, Paddling
The waters of Redfish Bay, South Bay, Estes Flats and other saltwater grass
flats provide excellent kayak launching points, wade fishing, paddling,
birding, and boating opportunities. There are boat launches at
Conn Brown Harbor Park . Fly fishing and sightcasting for
Redfish and Speckled Trout is a favorite past time.
